Here are some pictures of Camp at the Arboretum on Mommy and Me Day. His favorite part is petting the animals in the petting zoo. I love taking him to the Arboretum! Update on baby #2....we found out that Camp is going to have a baby brother! I am so excited!!!! When we announced it to my family, he actually said it was a baby sister, and so we really threw my family off! Now he will say baby brother. :-) Camp is going to have a new baby cousin any day now....Melissa is one week over due, so we are just waiting for little Noah to make his entrance into the world. Camp already talks about Noah like he is already here!

A Few Updates:

Camp is 2 1/2 and a joy as always. He's so full of life, funny, talkative, and precious. He's so much fun, and I love being able to have little conversations with him! We have our second baby on the way, due October 9th! Camp is very excited and insists he's going to have a baby sister, but we are assuming boy because of our family's ongoing record of 5 grandsons so far. Of course we'll be so excited whatever it is. I haven't blogged in so long, but my lack of energy makes this just the right activity level for me right now. Some days I have a ton of energy, but most days, it's lacking. Sometimes I forget I'm pregnant and wonder why I feel so tired. We don't have any names picked out yet, and I'm guessing it's going to take us quite awhile to pick one out. I am so thankful for Brian and our little growing family.

Camp's 2nd Birthday

Camp usually resists bathtime, but once he's in, he'll stay in for an hour.

SUMMER

When I think of this summer, I think of:
PawPaw and Daddy building our fence, beautiful sunsets, eating lots of popsicles with Camp, lots of swimming with my little fish (Camp), family getting togethers, the circus, Ranger Games... Camp talking and turning into a little boy. Me and Brian's favorite Camp sayings:

"Whoa Daddy", "silly momma", "yep", "come on guys", "miss momma", "miss daddy", finally being able to say "Daddy Rick" instead of just "ick..."

Camp's favorite things:
white teddy, brown teddy, pillow, and mammy, yogurt drinks, ice cream cones, popsicles, Shane, Samuel, and Shepard, and all his family members!

Camp is 18 months old!!!! Here are some pictures of him playing around the house!

I don't have pictures tonight, but I just have to note that Camp is so hilarious and such a sweet sweet gift. No one told me how much we would LOVE this little guy. I actually feel EXCITED to get out of bed early in the morning when I hear him saying "Mama!" He is super cuddly in the morning and just wants me to hold him for awhile. Then we say good morning to all his stuffed animals. Camp LOVES "Little Einsteins"....but only the "Birthday Balloons" episode. :-) His other FAVORITE thing in the whole wide world is "Mary Poppins"! I have had "A Spoon Full of Sugar" and "Supercalifragolisticexpialidocios" in my head since we got back from our ski trip. But I have to say, that is the happiest movie ever! Camp is really into sorting things...putting things in something and then out....he seems to be much more organized than I am....He likes to sort my hair rollers, a bag of tealights, the magnets on the refrigerator, the box of DVDs, his stuffed animals....anything. He's really into "WA-WA" (water) He LOVES to play in the bath and the sink, and he signs for a bath or to play in the water at least five times a day. For a couple of weeks he took two baths a day...now we're finally down to one. :-) In the car lately, we practice everybody's name. He has his own pronunciation for each one. "Mama, Dada, DD, PawPaw, BB, Daddy Rick, Shane, Samuel, Shepard, Uncle Ben, Uncle Kyle, Aunt Jenn, Meesa, Katie, Reece, Brenda, Catherine, Granny, Rylee,....the list goes and goes.....that's just the beginning. It's really fun to hear him learning names. Probably my least favorite activity is anything involving the high chair....Camp loves to stand up....but yogurt seems to keep him satisfied for a long period of time. But for most meals we share our food and that seems to work the best. :-) Oh, Camp got either his 8th or 9th haircut yesterday. But this one was really special because he got to watch Daddy get his haircut! They both got their haircut...Camp did so much better this time! YAY!! Lately, when Camp wants to go to bed, he comes up to me and says "baba!" for his bottle of milk. Then he waves byebye and night-night to Daddy and all his animals. So sweet. Brian and I are so amazed by all of this. Babies and kiddos are so amazing....I had know idea.

"Every good and perfect gift is from above."

I have got a ton of pictures to sort through from Christmas, so I will try to post new pictures soon! Camp is doing great, but he does have an ear infection right now so hopefully he will feel better and better each day. Christmas this year was so much fun! And our ski trip in Colorado was wonderful! Camp brings so much laughter to this household!!! :-) The pictures will show you what I mean. Check back soon!
